Refunds, failed jobs and unused coins
Understand the difference between returned generation coins and a money refund.
When a generation fails#
Confirming an action reserves coins. A confirmed failed output releases its applicable reservation once. In a partially completed campaign, successful outputs remain charged and confirmed failed outputs release their relevant coins.
If the provider outcome is uncertain, Mechgram may need to review the existing request before settling the reservation. Avoid resubmitting the same job while that review is in progress. A released coin reservation returns usage balance; it is not a refund to your bank.
Requesting a refund of a purchase#
Open Mechgram Coins → Purchases & refunds to download your saved confirmation or submit a cancellation, unused-coin refund or service-problem request. You receive an acknowledgement and can see the response in your wallet. You may also contact support; a reason is not required for statutory cancellation. The review considers the purchase, consumed coins, active reservations, previous refunds and any payment dispute.
Unused purchased value is based on the original pack price. For example, a £19 purchase of 1,900 coins with 600 consumed leaves £13.00 of unused purchase value before other adjustments. Promotional coins have no cash purchase value. This example is not an automatic refund approval.
Used coins and your rights#
Successfully delivered work is normally excluded from a discretionary change-of-mind refund. Statutory rights and remedies for faulty or misdescribed services still apply; using coins does not automatically remove those rights.
Any approved money refund goes through the original payment route. Stripe may handle transaction support or disputes. The wallet is adjusted when a refund or reversal is verified; already spent reversed coins can restrict further spending until resolved.
