Combine a source video, reference photographs and clear replacement instructions.
Use the dedicated replacement tool#
Scene Replace is in Creative Suite inside a campaign. The separate Video Studio editor does not perform character replacement. Start with a source where the subject is visible and the intended change is easy to describe.
The current workflow uses one prepared 4–30-second video and one to eight reference photographs. Source upload accepts MP4 or MOV under 250 MB. Obtain all necessary rights and consent before uploading.
Describe both the change and the things to keep#
- Select Scene Replace, confirm rights and choose the source video.
- Select the photographs that define the replacement subject.
- Write the change precisely and identify background details to preserve.
- Choose 480p or 720p and framing, then review the exact quote.
- After confirming, check the whole completed clip for consistency, especially occlusion and fast movement.
Replace the vase on the table with the vase shown in my reference images. Keep the camera movement, table, lighting and surrounding room consistent. Preserve the new vase’s ivory finish and silhouette.
Check continuity before using it#
The tool generates a transformation; it does not guarantee pixel-perfect preservation of everything else. Faces, hands, reflections and overlapping objects can change unexpectedly. Review every important moment.
Outputs are silent. Use Video Studio for a separately quoted edit or narration after downloading the result. A new replacement attempt has a new quote.
