Choose sound, narration and captions

Understand generated sound, source audio, AI voiceover and on-screen text.

For generated campaign clips#

Cinema Director offers optional generated sound. Motion Studio and Scene Replace deliver silent outputs. Audio choices depend on the selected workflow, so check the exact quote before confirming.

  • Silent: a video without a soundtrack.
  • Generated sound: audio made with the video, when supported. Review what the generator actually produces.
  • AI voiceover: narration from your approved wording, when available. Choose the offered voice, currently Marin or Cedar.
  • On-screen captions: the short reviewed caption for each scene. These are not automatically timed, word-by-word subtitles.

For uploaded footage in Video Studio#

This Video Studio workflow does not offer new music generation or voice cloning. Do not assume that requesting a song in the prompt gives permission to use it or creates a licensed soundtrack.

Review with sound on#

  1. Read narration before generating: names, pronunciation, claims and timing all matter.
  2. Keep captions concise and positioned so they do not obscure the subject.
  3. Listen to the entire finished output, checking speech, pauses, distortion and background levels.
  4. If the sound needs a new generation or render, review its separate quote.
